Product details

The GEL-Foundation Walker has been designed for the consumer who requires greater levels of stability while walking. Stability has been achieved through the combination of a wide base, Maximum Support DuoMax and an integrated Trusstic System. Shock absorption has been enhanced through the use of a SpEVA midsole encasing both forefoot and rearfoot GEL units. Greater flexibility has been achieved by an increase in the number of flex grooves in the forefoot. Available in 2E and 4E widths for men and a D fit for women.

Product features

  • This Personal Heel Fit moulds and customizes itself to the individual heel shape of each wearer

  • ASICS High Abrasion Resistant rubber on the outersole. Helps cut down on excessive wear

  • An EVA or SpEVA sockliner moulded to the shape of the foot, which can be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic

  • Midsole material that improves bounce back characteristics and decrease midsole breakdown

  • A dual-density midsole system positioned to enhance support and stability

  • Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.

Pronation Suitability

Over Pronate - Severe Over Pronate

  1. Under
  2. Neutral
  3. Over
  4. Severe

Pronation is how a runner's foot rolls laterally between footfall and toe-off. Underpronation is when the foot rolls outwards, overpronation is when it rolls inwards, and a neutral pattern is when little rolling occurs.

Matching a shoe's properties with the runner's running style will increase comfort, running efficiency, and contribute to decreasing the risk of injury.
