Product details

The GEL-DS Trainer 19 is a stable yet cushioned lightweight trainer made for fast-paced training and racing. A new engineered mesh upper is lightweight and results in enhanced fit and comfort. Guidance Line combined with a Guidance Trusstic facilitates a more efficient progression from heel strike through to toe off. This is further enhanced by a more flexible forefoot achieved via the implementation of a true Twist GEL unit. Comfort levels have been increased with the addition of a Clutch Counter in the rearfoot whilst Dynamic DuoMax keeps this shoe as supportive as ever.

Product features

  • External heel counter to improve fit and comfort while remaining lightweight

  • This Personal Heel Fit moulds and customizes itself to the individual heel shape of each wearer

  • An upgrade of the current DuoMax system by distributing local pressure proportionally to increase stability while providing improved comfort

  • Longitudinal groove that decouples tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency

  • Special hardened unit placed in forefoot for more efficient propulsion phase

  • Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.

Pronation Suitability

Over Pronate - Over Pronate

  1. Under
  2. Neutral
  3. Over
  4. Severe

Pronation is how a runner's foot rolls laterally between footfall and toe-off. Underpronation is when the foot rolls outwards, overpronation is when it rolls inwards, and a neutral pattern is when little rolling occurs.

Matching a shoe's properties with the runner's running style will increase comfort, running efficiency, and contribute to decreasing the risk of injury.
