This latest version of the GEL-Netburner Magic gives a far more streamlined, faster image than previous versions.
An EVA sockliner moulded to the shape of the foot, which can be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic.
The ASICS GEL System is probably the most famous of all our innovations. To bring about the highest possible shock absorbing effect, the GEL-units are strategically placed in the midsole of the shoe. For the ASICS GEL cushioning system various materials are used. Depending on its function, the GEL-unit contains a siliconebased porous foam, a silicone GEL or a semi-solid silicone substance encapsulated in polyurethane. The shape of the units are also precisely designed to the specific function and position.
ASICS High Abrasion Rubber. Tough rubber compound used at the heavy-contact areas of the outersole. Helps cut down on excessive wear.
Moulded component under the midfoot area. Provides over-pronation control in combination with extremely contoured midsoles. Also reduces the weight of the shoe.
Proprietary midsole material that improves bounce back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown.
The proprietary midsole material takes on a new role as a lasting technology, enhancing comfort by improved cushioning through the use of three different densities. 45 density for high cushion and flexibility.
This shoe exceeds the boundaries of our netball development – the midsole/outsole is the most advanced ever seen in netball. It takes KINSEI running technology into the midsole and combines it with a Clutch Counter System for outstanding midfoot rigidity and fit.
The GEL-Netburner Professional 7 has been built on an incredibly stable yet cushioned platform suited to those players who desire the fit and feel of a running shoe but recognise that they need the extra grip and higher durability of a netball shoe.
The big news on this shoe for 2011 is the introduction of the Clutch Collar System in the upper.

This latest version of the GEL-Netburner Magic gives a far more streamlined, faster image than previous versions. We wanted to have a more rigid heel for instant feedback to the netballer when she changes direction. The extended Trusstic gives very stable rear to midfoot stability, while comfort is enhanced by using a full SpEVA midsole.
