This model offers maximum support with an even smoother ride. It introduces Gender Specific Cushioning technology, featuring a new 2 density cradle on top of the normal 2 density midsole, ensuring a stable base for both genders.
The Impact Guidance System is a technical design philosophy that allows the foot to perform in a more natural manner for the intended sport.
Moulds and customises itself to the individual heel shape of the wearer.
Radical upper technology involving flex points over areas of highest buckling for much improved fit, dramatically reduced loading and greater comfort, especially over bony prominences.
A reflective material produced by the 3M company for night safety.
This is an injected and separate piece of Solyte that is in the forefoot of the midsole. The women’s piece is softer (48degree durometer measure) compared to the men’s (53degree). This allows the lighter frame of women to feel the cushioning available in the forefoot of the shoe.
The ASICS GEL System is probably the most famous of all our innovations. To bring about the highest possible shock absorbing effect, the GEL-units are strategically placed in the midsole of the shoe. For the ASICS GEL cushioning system various materials are used. Depending on its function, the GEL-unit contains a siliconebased porous foam, a silicone GEL or a semi-solid silicone substance encapsulated in polyurethane. The shape of the units are also precisely designed to the specific function and position.
New proprietary midsole material, which is lighter than ASICS’ standard EVA and SpEVA, combined with improved cushioning and durability.
Also a consequence from our Gender studies - ASICS scientists have used 3mm of additional midsole height (at the heel) on women’s models to help relieve possible strain on the Achilles tendon. Making sport a more comfortable and safer place for women.
New blown AHAR outsole material. Delivers enhanced cushioning, durability and ride to the forefoot.
The Guidance Line is a physical separation of the midsole. This vertical flex groove decouples the tooling and helps reproduce consistent load transfer at propulsion. IGS Adaptive Technology at its best.
ASICS High Abrasion Rubber. Tough rubber compound used at the heavy-contact areas of the outersole. Helps cut down on excessive wear.
A reinforced EVA component contoured to provide medial and lateral stability.
Derived from our Gender specific studies to make sport a more comfortable and safer place for women. This next generation DuoMax employs a thin, softer layer that sits on top of the main stability component in the midsole. This provides greater comfort and enhanced gait efficiency to female athletes.
The GEL-Nimbus 13 boasts outstanding levels of rearfoot and forefoot cushioning to absorb and disperse shock throughout gait.
Since the introduction of the first GEL-Foundation in 1999, the goal for this series has been to provide maximum support to runners who need more than a standard stability shoe offers.
The Stratus is a neutral platform shoe with the feel and ride of the GT-2000 series. Those with a neutral gait will enjoy a very responsive shoe without losing any of the required cushioning.
Great for any activity you pursue, these ingenious tights are essentially a full leg muscle support system.
The sleeveless top is a great option where arm lift and motion is paramount to your training

samantha addamo says:it is a great shoe for support and stability, flexibility i have been using asics evolution for 5 years now prior to using this shoe, i was wearing brooks but it doesnt come close to the asics evolution, i run about 20kms a week and have bounced back with no foot pain at all in the mornings after training, i was in alot of pain at one time but no more. the only problem is the colours there not exciting enough or bright enough thats why i gave it a 4 star rating
