Over the years the GEL-Odyssey has been the most consistent and most loved model in the ASICS Comfort Walking category. This season devoted fans will love its new, improved and much lighter construction. Built on the Cardio Zip tooling, the Odyssey is now lower profile and more sleek as a result. Cushioning has been provided via the utilisation of a Solyte midsole encasing both rearfoot and forefoot GEL units to attenuate impact forces. Medially placed DuoMax and a midfoot Trusstic provide a supportive platform during walking whilst walking specific componentry such as a more centred heel bevel, walking Trusstic and increased lateral forefoot flexibility aim to make gait more efficient. Lastly, an external heel protector and PHF in the rearfoot enhance fit whilst making the shoe more durable. Available in either 2E or D fit.
