The ultra-consistent Boyd produced the best of his seven seasons at AFL level in 2009, winning his first best and fairest and All-Australian selection to establish himself as an elite midfielder. A strong performer in big matches, he excels in hard-ball and loose-ball gets and handball receives and was third in the AFL for handballs. Hasn’t missed a game since mid-2005.
