The New GEL Nimbus VI
is specifically designed for the neutral to under pronating athlete. A versatile shoe that appeals to a broad cross-section of runners and widely accepted as a shoe for all seasons. GEL Nimbus VI now packs outstanding appeal with Biomorphic Fit™, Space Trusstic and the brilliant new ComforDry Sockliner.
Biomorphic Fit™ is radical new upper technology using stretch mesh on the upper combined with TPU webbing over the areas of highest buckling on the lateral forefoot and medial arch. This improves fit and dramatically reduces loading, especially over boney prominences. The all-new Space Trusstic system assists in efficient transition of the foot from foot flat to propulsion and helps to facilitate the all-important Windlass Mechanism.
The ComforDry Sockliner is a unique dual layer cushioning system combining the support of base foam with the slow recovery of lazy foam. As the foot settles into the shoe, it is cradled by base foam and lazy foam forms to take the shape of the athlete’s foot, creating a custom fit insole. Lazy foam is a slow recovery formulation, so when the foot enters the propulsive phase of the gait the foam completely returns to its original shape, assisting in the energy return process. In addition, the open cell structures of the foams are completely breathable, allowing air to circulate and removing moisture, leaving the foot cooler and dryer. Ortholite is also formulated with a patented anti-microbial to fight against fungus, bacteria and odour, and will not fade over time. The brilliant ComforDry Sockliner provides a cooler, dryer, healthier environment for the foot. |
